PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW (KVKK) INFORMATION TEXT

1. Identity of the Data Controller

As SMT Europe Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), we, in our capacity as data controller under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), process your personal data within the framework described below.

2. For What Purpose Will Personal Data Be Processed?

Your collected personal data is processed for the purposes of enabling you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company, conducting the necessary work by our business units to provide the products and services, determining and implementing our Company's commercial and business strategies, and ensuring the execution of our Company's human resources policies.

3. To whom and for what purposes the processed personal data may be transferred

Your personal data collected shall be sent to our business partners, suppliers, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions and private persons in accordance with the above-mentioned purposes, pursuant to Article 8 of the KVKK. and 9. it may be transferred in accordance with the conditions specified in the articles.

4. Method of Personal Data Collection and Legal Reason

Your personal data is collected by our Company through different channels and based on different legal reasons.  These legal reasons include the performance of a contract, the data controller's fulfillment of a legal obligation, and the processing of data being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right. 

5. The Rights of the Data Subject Enumerated in Article 11 of the KVKK

As personal data owners, you may submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company using the methods specified below. Our Company will finalize the request free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires additional costs, the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Board may be charged. In this context, personal data owners have the following rights:

Learning whether their personal data is being processed,
Requesting information if their personal data has been processed,
Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is being used for its intended purpose,
Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, whether domestically or internationally,
Requesting correction of personal data in case it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
Requesting deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Law,
(d) and (e) pursuant to these articles, request notification of the actions taken to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
Object to the emergence of a result against the person's own interests through the exclusive analysis of processed data using automated systems.
They have the right to demand compensation for harm suffered due to unlawful processing of personal data.
